Explore Women's History in Downtown Philadelphia's New Boutique Hotel

With AirBnB pricing and fees on the rise, many are turning towards boutique hotels instead. These spaces offer unique and curated experiences with the peace of mind and regular maintenance that an established hotel can provide.

I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with a boutique hotel in downtown Philadelphia. The Guild House Hotel opened just about a year ago and is housed inside a National Historic Landmark. If you know anything about me, I am a sucker for history - architecture, fashion, art, etc, and any combination of those puts me on cloud nine!

The Guild House’s “story begins back in 1882, when a group of bold, forward-thinking women formed a club called the New Century Guild to support the growing number of working women in the city.” The Hotel, designed by the female owned-and-operated ROHE Creative team, hopes to honor these brave women, with rooms and suites named after real life members, with unique details that capture the essence of the women who once gathered there. 

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It was such a relaxing and luxurious retreat and hope to be back soon.
