Known for its ethereal silhouettes, earthy hues, and vintage-inspired designs, Doen captures the essence of effortless femininity with a nod to the past. But achieving this dreamy aesthetic doesn't always require breaking the bank on brand-new pieces.
From romantic prairie dresses to breezy blouses adorned with delicate lace, we'll uncover the key elements of Doen's signature style and reveal the ideal search keywords to unearth these gems for yourself.

Step 1: Identify your favorites and understand their silhouettes.
The Chandra Dress is a classic 90s and early aughts silhouette. When searching on Etsy, your best results will come from “90s Womens Maxi Dress” and filters such as price (I like to check under $100 and under $50), and making sure “vintage” is selected for item type.
The Chantal Top is identical to vintage women’s bed jackets - so you’ll search just that! Additional filters you can add here are colors, location, as well as price.
Some trending vintage pieces, like the cottagecore favorite Gunne Sax or Peasant Dress are in high demand and most of your selection will be higher than your $100 filter, but trends like the above haven’t been picked over yet so you’ll likely find a lot to browse through.
I do realize that identifying your favorites and understanding their silhouettes in terms of fashion history is not common knowledge to most. In this case, a Google Image Search of the product comes in handy, or starting with your best guess description and seeing where your results will lead you.
For the Chandra Dress, you could start with “maxi crew neck sleeveless dress” and for the Chantal Top, you could start with “flowy pink tie front open blouse.”
Step 2: Sifting through your search results.
