Escape the City: Spring Glen, New York

It’s hard to coordinate weekends away lately, but my husband and I managed to squeeze in a few nights away during his spring break to our favorite place - The Catskills.

Our Airbnb (linked at the end) in Spring Glen, NY was exactly what we needed: a cute space to inspire some photos after a dark and dreary winter, and a cabin tucked away from the world with only the sound of the rushing river below.

My favorite spot was this beautiful window seat. The morning light hitting the disco ball hung from the ceiling to create little drops of light all over the living room.

A bedroom sits at the top floor, with a sliding glass door to one of three balconies. The main floor included the kitchen, living spaces and bathroom with a steam shower. The bottom floor (pictured below) included another sleeping space, a bathroom with luxurious tub, and onsite washer dryer.

It was so fun exploring all the books that filled this cabin, especially the long shelf upstairs filled with coffee table books. Photographers, artists, cheeky political explorations. This space is definitely an oasis for it’s creative owners and I’m so grateful I was able to enjoy it for a few nights.
